Who am I?

I am a South Asian Muslim lesbian writer based in the UK. Through personal essays, I explore faith, queerness, diaspora and belonging, reflecting on the tensions and possibilities of living between cultures. My work examines family, community and identity, while contributing to a growing body of stories that centre queer Muslim voices and experiences.
